Grant Buchanan

Grant has over 30 years’ experience as a financial adviser, most of which has been spent as an Independent Financial Adviser. He takes an analytical approach to problem solving, combined with thorough consideration of the options available to his clients. This means that he consistently delivers comprehensive financial advice to meet each client’s specific needs and objectives. Grant provides advice on all aspects of financial planning.
Grant is married with two daughters. He enjoys keeping fit in his time away from work.
Iain Johnston
Position:
Director and Independent Financial Adviser
Iain started his career as a financial adviser in 1982, and like Grant, he has also spent most of his career as an Independent Financial Adviser. Iain is a clear and straightforward communicator and his strong ethical core underpins his approach to business. His depth of experience means that he is well placed to deliver appropriate and tailored advice to meet a wide range of financial planning needs. Iain provides advice on all aspects of financial planning.
Iain is married with four grown up children. He is a keen swimmer.
Tim Johnston
Position: Independent Financial Adviser
Tim is an Independent Financial Adviser who has been a key part of our business for a number of years, building on his previous experience with one of the UK’s largest insurers and wealth managers. A genuinely conscientious and dependable team member, his knowledge and client focus are outstanding. He is very much an integral part of our financial planning team, who not only looks after his own clients, but also assists Iain and Grant.
Tim has a young son and together they enjoy outdoor activities, swimming and spending time with friends and extended family.
Pauline Haire

Pauline draws on her thirty plus years' experience in the general insurance, life and pensions sectors. She brings a dedicated and flexible approach to her work with Buchanan Johnston Flynn Limited.
Vicky Auld

Vicky's energy and willingness to help makes her a much valued and key member of our team. Vicky has a broad range of experience gained with us since 1997 and helps keep the system, and us, moving.
